Bruce Golden
Ophthalmologist

Dr. Bruce Golden received a dental degree from Washington University School of Dentistry in St. Louis, Missouri. He did a fellowship in dental physiology and in dental medicine at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Golden received his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He interned and did his residency in ophthalmology at University Hospital at the University of Iowa. He was a post doctoral fellow in ophthalmology at the National Institutes of Health and received a post doctoral master of science degree from the University of Iowa.

Dr. Golden has been in private practice in ophthalmology with Eye Surgeons and Consultants, Ltd., in Chicago since 1975. He has also been affiliated with Golden Eye Surgeons and Consultants, Ltd., in Janesville, Wisconsin, since 1988. Dr. Golden's practice consists of evaluation and treatment of injuries and diseases of the eye. Dr. Golden has hospital privileges at several facilities in the Chicago and Janesville areas. He has been the director of the Division of Ophthalmology at Edgewater Hospital in Chicago since 1975. Dr. Golden has also done ophthalmology work in South Africa, and has been a professor at the Blindness Research Foundation.

Dr. Golden is a member of numerous professional organizations. He has published many articles and book chapters, and has received a significant number of research grants. Dr. Golden is licensed in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin, and is board certified in ophthalmology.
