Bruce D. Horton,
D.O., FAOCEP
Osteopath
Dr. Horton received his B.S.
degree in Pharmacy at Ferris State University in Michigan. In 1966, he
graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. From 1966-67,
he did a rotating internship at the Parkview Hospital in Toledo Ohio.
In 1980, he became certified in Emergency Medicine.
A synopsis of Dr. Horton's
practice experience over the past 20 years includes; Director, Parkview
Hospital Ambulatory Care Center (Ohio), Assistant Clinical Professor of
Emergency Medicine (Medical College of Ohio), Attending Emergency Physician
(Medical College of Ohio), Chairman, Department of Emergency Medicine
Memorial Osteopathic Hospital (York, Pennsylvania), Attending Emergency
Physician, St. Francis Hospital (Blue Island, IL.), Medical Director Pontiac
and Dwight Correctional Centers Maximum Security Penal Institutions, Medical
Director 6 Humana Med-First Centers, CEO and President, Physicians' Consultants
of American, Medical Director, Little Company of Mary Care Stations, Staff
Physician Mercy Hospital and Medical Center, (Chicago, IL).
Currently, Dr. Horton is the
Occupational Medical Director, of Ingalls Hospital and is an Active Consultant
in Occupational Medicine for Kiswaulkee (DeKalb, IL) and Methodist Hospitals,
(Peoria, IL). In addition, Dr. Horton is currently servicing as a Medical
Review Officer for Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad.
Dr. Horton is an experienced
expert witness, who is available for both independent medical evaluation
and file reviews. Dr. Horton currently resides in the Chicago suburbs,
and is available to perform IME's or File Reviews in Crete.
