BIO-BRIEF
Scott A. Kale,
M.D.
Internal Medicine & Rheumatologist
Dr. Kale obtained his undergraduate
degree from Washington University of St. Louis and an M.S. degree in Experimental
Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. He received his medical degree
from the Chicago School of Medicine in 1976. In 1999, Dr. Kale obtained
a law degree from John Marshall Law School Chicago, IL.
Internship and residency programs
in internal medicine were done at Rush - Presbyterian - St. Luke's Hospital
of Chicago. He also received a fellowship in rheumatology from Rush -
Presbyterian.
In 1998, Dr. Kale underwent
certification procedures through the American Academy of Disability Evaluating
Physicians to be qualified as a Certified Independent Medical Evaluator.
From 1986 to the present, Dr.
Kale has served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Rush Medical College.
Dr. Kale is a member of numerous
professional organizations and has published many articles and editorials
relevant to his specialty areas. In addition, he has served as an Organizer
and Co-Director of the Arthritis Center of St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago,
as a Medical Director of Preferred Care Network, as a Medical Advisor
to Social Security Disability Hearings Program, and as Clinical Director
of Medicine Sheridan Road Hospital, and the Rush-Presbyterian and St.
Luke's Hospitals.
Dr. Kale is board certified
in internal medicine and board eligible in rheumatology. He is licensed
in Illinois and Wisconsin and is available for appointments in Chicago
and Skokie, IL.
