Dr. Lewis Klapper received his D.M.D. degree from Tufts Dental School in 1964. He received his Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics, Master of Science Degree in Dentistry and Doctor of Science Degree in Oral Biology from Boston University.

Dr. Klapper has been in private practice in Lake Bluff, IL, since 1969 and has specialized in TMJ and related facial pain from 1980 to the present.

Dr. Klapper served full-time on the faculty of Loyola University - Department of Orthodontics (1976-1992). He was Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics, Loyola University School of Dentistry from 1978-1989.

Dr. Klapper is an accomplished speaker on the topics of TMJ and Orthodontics and has traveled within the Mid-West, and to Mexico, Central America, Europe and Asia, to lecture on these issues.
