Dr. Stephen F. Weiss

Dr. Stephen Weiss was born and raised in New York City. He received his B.A. from Columbia University and his M.D. from New York University Medical Center in 1968. Internship and residency were performed at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, Orthopedic Institute in New York City. From 1972-1973, he served as chief resident at Stanford University, after which he served as a major in the U.S. Army.

He is licensed to practice medicine in both Wisconsin and Illinois and is board certified in orthopedic and arthroscopic surgery. Since 1976 he has had an active orthopedic practice in Rockford, Illinois.
