Practice Limited to Surgery of the Hand, Wrist and Elbows

Dr. Vender graduated with distinction from Stanford University and received his M.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, participating in the James Scholar Program. He did his residency at Northwestern University in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He served a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at Connecticut Combined Hand Services in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Vender is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has also received a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Vender has served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University Medical School

Dr. Vender is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Chicago Society for Surgery of the Hand.
